Over the past week, the IT Recovery Subcommittee developed a survey to assess the technology needs of our One IT community. We are working on analyzing the responses of nearly 200 IT professionals supporting a wide range of services in colleges, schools, research centers, as well as central IT units to better gauge technical resources that may be needed during the recovery process. We continue to manage the instructional resilience and telecommuting resources websites in support of summer sessions kicking off this week and our campus community working remotely. Several other projects are in the early development stages including a health tracking app, research on space planning software, and a Student Technology Equity Program to help connect students with adequate technology to support a remote educational experience (e.g. laptops, Wi-Fi hotspots, noise cancelling headphones, etc.). More information on these projects will be shared in the weeks to come.
